After your initial consultation, a dental bridge treatment is generally completed over two appointments. Firstly, to prepare the supporting teeth and a return visit to permanently fit the bridge in place.
For a conventional dental bridge, the teeth on either side of the space will be shaped in preparation to accept the crowns which will support the bridge. Your dentist will administer a local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort during the procedure.
When your teeth have been prepared, your dentist will take dental Impressions from which your bridge will be carefully crafted by our dental lab.
Your new custom-made bridge includes the replacement tooth and the crowns. The shape and colour are matched as closely as possible to your natural teeth. Porcelain is a popular choice for bridges thanks to its natural tooth colour.
